The Verdugo Peak repeater 462.7000 was put on the air June 19th 2006. It now serves the GMRS community in Southern California free of charge. Since the repeater is a high level system it has a big coverage area that allows GMRS licensees to communicate all over Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties.
